Dover, Tennessee Park
Our upcoming wildlife center sits on 500 acres in Dover, TN. The land is currently under our forest conservation program, and with great care to the environment and our local wildlife, we are building a unique destination wildlife park. Our goal is to open the park by 2025 to the public, however official opening dates will be determined based on building deadlines, licensing and permit requirements, and of course the volume of supporting income our patrons and ambassadors bring in.
We purchased this 500 acres from a logging company just as they began to cut down mature trees. We were able to acquire the land just in time and save the established pine forests that were home to countless wildlife species. Acquiring land from lumber companies allows us to save mature forests from being logged.
Our wildlife park will be different from the upcoming private nature parks we are opening throughout the U.S. This one will be our “flagship” park and offer more amenities and attractions. Our parks are designed to blend naturally into the forest environment with efforts to cause as minimal impact on the local wildlife population and habitats as possible. Our goal with this park is to offer shopping centers, restaurants, camping, overnight stays, and more. All of these features will be focused on our forest and wildlife conservation mission and designed to accentuate the natural environment and blend into the forest.
It’s our goal to design a park that feels like a community that replicates the way we view our future. We can’t avoid building homes, nor can we avoid building businesses, but our design with our flagship wildlife park will be to present a visual example of the future we are wanting to achieve. We want to show our communities how you can build and live and work as we do, with respect for our wilderness and wildlife. We’ve been fooled into thinking that in order to build communities, we need to strip the land to the ground - but that’s wrong. This park will create a representation of the future we want our communities to look like.
This park will also be our primary wildlife park and will host wildlife viewing centers, education programs, museums, bookstores, and so much more. This park is a dream but we can’t do it without you. By becoming a Wild Embassy ambassador or patronizing at our stores - you are able to help support bringing this unique wildlife park to life. Join us in creating a world that truly exemplifies “green” living by actually living and working in the forest amongst the trees and wildlife.
